Conversation with Kevin Mendoza... Kevin (uWaterloo B.A.Sc. - Applied Science, '99) is just wrapping-up the last course to complete the Project Management Certificate. Student Perspective... We recently had the opportunity to sit-down with Dayna Giorgio, Donor Relations and Communications Officer, KidsAbility Foundation and talk to her about her experiences with the uWaterloo Professional Development (PD) course offerings.
Thinking Ahead..."Everything you do requires strong leadership skills." That's the perspective of Leadership Certificate recipient Arshia Azizeddin when asked why he was pursuing the courses for the designation.
Transitions... Ask Judy Carrick (BMath '73, Cert. PM) why she sought retraining from uWaterloo and she'll straighforwardly tell you "it's because of the format, practical, in-class approach, and condensed timeframe in which a certificate can be completed."
