November 16, 2010 - The Centre for Extended Learning, Professional Development Program is excited to announce that 18 of its online courses have recently been assigned Professional Development Units (PDUs) by the Project Management Institute

Each student, who now successfully completes one of the following approved courses, will receive a separate Ed2Go Certificate with 24 PDUs that are recognized by the Project Management Institute:

Real world learning continues... When Cathy Gravelle wanted real world knowledge in real world time, she turned to University of Waterloo’s Professional Development Department and was quite pleased with the results.

Conversation with Kevin Mendoza... Kevin (uWaterloo B.A.Sc. - Applied Science, '99) is just wrapping-up the last course to complete the Project Management Certificate. He says he chose uWaterloo not only because he is an alumnus, but also because of the significant discount offered to alumni - which was an incentive to take more courses.

Student Perspective... We recently had the opportunity to sit-down with Dayna Giorgio, Donor Relations and Communications Officer, KidsAbility Foundation and talk to her about her experiences with the uWaterloo Professional Development (PD) course offerings.

Daily Bulletin

The Daily Bulletin is an electronic news bulletin issued daily for people at the University of Waterloo. It appears at 9:00 a.m. each working day of the year. It is produced by the internal communications staff in the office of Communications and Public Affairs.
