Online Courses

The University of Waterloo's Centre for Extended Learning offers the gamut in online professional development opportunities, from individual skills development courses to comprehensive certificate programs. Online courses offer the flexibility and convenience of studying whenever and wherever you choose, making it easy to learn and work without conflicting with your busy schedule.

Where

Individual courses are offered in partnership with Ed2Go and are executed fully online. Each course is considered the equivalent of 24 hours of in-class instruction. All courses require Internet access and an email account.

When

All individual courses run for a period of six weeks. Lessons are released on Wednesdays and Fridays of each week, followed by a 2-week period in which you complete the final exam. You are not required to be online at any specific time.

Upcoming start dates: May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15.

How

Please enrol at least two days prior to the start date. When enrolling online, an automatic email confirming your registration with instructions on how to access your online course is sent. If enrolling by phone, mail, or in person, please allow 1-2 business days to process your registration.
