In-class Courses

Each year, thousands of professionals look to the University of Waterloo's Centre for Extended Learning for corporate training and professional development opportunities that will provide you with the certification and skills you need to build and succeed in your career.

Where

Most in-class courses are offered at the Centre for Extended Learning's training facility at 335 Gage Avenue in Kitchener, Ontario. Ample free parking is available.

When

Courses begin at 9:00 am and finish at 4:30 pm, unless otherwise specified. Refreshments, light breakfast, and lunch are provided. Please notify us in advance if you have any special dietary needs.

How

You can register online, by phone, mail or in person. If enrolling by phone, mail or in person, please allow 1-2 business days to process your registration. Once there is sufficient enrolment in your chosen course, a confirmation email will be sent to you, as well as a map with driving directions and parking information.

New in-class courses are added several times throughout the year. Please visit us regularly for updates, or signup for our Course Calendar or eAlert.

Completion Requirements

You must attend at least 80% of the course to receive a certificate of completion. Therefore you are strongly encouraged to attend the entire course by arriving on time and staying until the end of the instruction time. This maximizes your learning and is least disruptive to the instructor and other participants.
