In-class Courses

Each year, thousands of professionals look to the University of Waterloo's Centre for Extended Learning for corporate training and professional development opportunities that will provide them with the certification and skills they need to build and succeed in their careers.

Where

Most in-class courses are offered at the Centre for Extended Learning's training facility at 335 Gage Avenue in Kitchener. Ample free parking is available.

When

Full-day courses begin at 9:00 am and finish at 4:30 pm, unless otherwise specified. Refreshments, light breakfast, and lunch are provided for full-day courses. Please notify us in advance should you have any special dietary needs.

How

You can register online. If enrolling by phone, mail or in person, please allow 1-2 business days to process your registration. Once there is sufficient enrolment in your chosen course, a confirmation email will be sent to you, as well as a map with driving directions and parking information.

New in-class courses may be added throughout the year. Please visit our website regularly for updates.

Completion Requirements

Please note we cannot issue a certificate of completion to participants who do not attend at least 80% of the course. Therefore participants are strongly encouraged to attend the entire course by arriving on time and staying until the end of the instruction time. This maximizes your learning and is least disruptive to the instructor and other participants.
